Product Introduction
DTH hammer is an integral part of DTH drilling rig to connect DTH drill bit and drilling rig. It includes low wind pressure DTH hammer, medium wind pressure DTH hammer, and high wind pressure DTH hammer.
Application field: It is widely used in metallurgy, coal, chemical industry, mining, water conservancy, hydropower, highway, railway, national defense, construction, and other engineering hole forming operations.
Working principle: High-pressure air enters the inside of the DTH hammer through the intake valve of the DTH drilling rig and the inner hole of the drill pipe. It is divided into two ways through the air distribution valve, one way enters the bottom of the hole through the center hole of the valve seat and piston and the exhaust hole of the DTH drill bit to discharge the rock slag at the bottom of the hole, and the other way is distributed to the cylinder to make it reciprocate to realize the impact work.
DTH hammer performance characteristics
1. The single impact energy is high, and the energy consumption for breaking rocks is low.
2. The weight ratio of the piston and the drill bit is close, and effective for a long time. It is beneficial to improve the rock crushing efficiency and prolong the life of the drilling tools.
3. The central exhaust has a good slag discharge effect and reduces the repeated crushing of rock.
4. It has a simple and reliable internal structure that is easy to assemble and disassemble, with few failures and easy maintenance.
5. The hammer has a check valve device to drill holes in the water.
6. It is always at the front end of the hole when working, and the transmission of the impact energy is not affected by the drilling depth.

Instructions for DTH hammer
1. When the DTH hammer starts drilling, the minimum impact and propulsion force should be used to make the hammer stand against the ground, and open the impact air valve to make the DTH hammer impact work, at this time the hammer does not rotate, DTH drill bit smoothly drill into the rock, and then gradually increase the impact and propulsion force.
2. The thread of the hammer is right-hand. When the rock drilling tools are in the hole, the hammer should always keep the right rotation. Reverse rotation is strictly forbidden to avoid accidents of hammer and drill bit falling into the well.
3. During drilling, keep the hole free of rock slag, and if necessary, carry out strong blowing to clear the hole.
4. When replacing the pressure line and connecting drill pipe, clean the dirt in the pressure and keep the joint of the drill pipe clean to prevent the rock slag and dust from entering the DTH hammer.
5. Reasonable lubrication is the key to ensuring long service life and high efficiency of the hammer, or else it will accelerate the wear of the hammer.
6. During drilling, the dust brought by high pressure gas, the pollution of the lubricating oil, dust and mud enter the impactor. It not only reduces the performance of the hammer but also damages the contact surface of each moving part. Therefore, regular maintenance can ensure the continuous and reliable work of the impactor and extend the service life.
